Information display

Four 15-inch displays replace the previous generation’s screen arrangement. Boeing highlights integrated navigation and electronic flight bag connectivity, depending on the installed configuration.

Spoiler control

MAX design changes include fly-by-wire spoiler control. This specific feature should not be interpreted as describing all primary flight controls as fully fly-by-wire.

Propulsion and aerodynamics

The LEAP-1B was developed for the 737 MAX family. Advanced Technology winglets and aerodynamic changes complement the evolution of the propulsion system.

Flight crew alerts

The FAA technical review describes alerts through lights, displays, voice messages, aural signals and stick shaker. Alert presentation logic is a relevant aspect of studying the 737 flight deck.
